The New Audi RS6 is by far the most powerful car that Audi produce. With a frankly silly 572 horsepower, the RS6 is more powerful than a Ferrari F430 or the Lamborghini Gallardo, from which the origins of this mighty engine are derived. It’s also Audi proving it can easily win the power race the BMW and Mercedes have been running in recent times, and blows away competition from the M5 and E Class AMG easily. All of this power is supplanted into a seemingly innocent A6 body with a choice of saloon or avant versions, and there are only subtle giveaway differences for true petrolheads to spot that this might not just be a standard A6, such as the 80’s quattro rally style boxy flared wheel arches, the deep chin spoiler and twin oval exhausts pointing out from under the larger rear bumper. All making the RS6 the ultimate Q car – a easy to use family car one minute, and eating up supercars for breakfast the next. |
