Nissan Micra 1.2
The new Nissan Micra 1.2 petrol engine is the smallest engine available and also the cheapest and lowest price car in the range. It has 80 horsepower, good enough for 0 to 60 mph in 13.5 seconds and a top speed of 104 mph. fuel consumption is ok at 47.9 mpg, with CO2 levels at 139g/km. The 1.2 is also available as an auto, but that does have a negative effect on performance and fuel economy. In a class that is very much price dependent, the 1.2 is a strong seller as the cheapest in the range. |

Nissan Micra 1.4
The new Nissan Micra 1.4 petrol engine has 88 horsepower, so not a huge step up over the 1.2, but it does feel a bit stronger and has a useful amount more torque for acceleration. Fuel consumption drops to 44.8 mpg on the combined run and CO2 levels are at 154g/km. The Micra 1.4 is available as either a manual or optional auto version. |

Nissan Micra 1.5 DCi
The new Nissan Micra 1.5 DCi diesel is the only diesel available in the range, but it is a strong and refined engine that has good performance in a car that weighs very little, with a particularly good mid range for overtaking. It has 86 horsepower good for a 0-60 time of 11.9 seconds, and a top speed of 106 miles per hour, similar performance to the 1.4 petrol, but with much better fuel econmy with an average combined figure of 61.4 miles per gallon and CO2 levels of just 120g/km, making it ithe greenest and most fuel efficient model. |
