New VW Scirocco
The New VW Scirocco 2013 model is a stunning looking remake of the classic 70's and 80's coupe. Based on the Golf GTI chassis, the car is lower and wider than the Golf. The shape is gorgeous, with aggressive proportions and large haunches above the rear wheel arches in proper sports car style, and has been likened to Darth Vaders helmet, especially in Black. Although it is a coupe, Interior space for driver and front passenger is very good, and the roof line doesn't swoop down too much at the rear giving decent headroom and legroom in the back. It is worth noting that the rear seats are 2 individual bucket seats rather than a bench, so it's strictly a 4 seater at most. The car has been praised for its handling in the press, being even more composed through a bend than the GTI, making it one of the best handling front wheel drive cars available today, and one with very few natural rivals for sale. The Scirocco is expected to take some of the sales that would otherwise have been for the Golf GTI. Dealers are currently only being given small allocations of the model, so big discounts are harder to find.
