Audi A8 Diesel For Sale
There are 2 different A8 diesel engines available in the all new range – the big selling 3.0 V6 TDI and the larger 4.2 V8 diesel. As the A8 is all aluminium and very light weight for such a large luxury car, the fuel economy on both models is really good, with the 3.0 diesel averaging 42.9 miles per gallon on the combined cycle, and the larger 4.2 giving a none too shabby 37.1 mpg combined. both have a top speed limited to 155 mph, and there’s only just over half a second between the cars on the 0-60 times, 6.1 seconds vs 5.5 seconds. Horsepower levels are 250 for the 3.0 litre diesel and the 4.2 gives 350 bhp. In use the 3.0 litre Audi A8 Diesel feels pleasantly quick, and not really lacking in any department. the 4.2 makes the car feel really quick, but a test drive is definitely advised to see if it’s worth paying the extra in your opinion.
