Audi Q7 Diesel For Sale
Diesel is pretty much the default choice for a large 4×4 like the Q7 in the UK, and Audi offers several different choices of its TDI diesels. you start off with the best selling 3.0 TDI engine which gives 240 horsepower, more than enough for most people when given its strong amount of mid range torque, with a 0-60 time of 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 135 miles per hour, and importantly its combined fuel economy figure of 38.2 mpg.
Next in the Audi Q7 diesel line up is the 3.0 litre clean diesel, which gives the same performance to the standard 3.0 litre but has lower particulate emissions, and then there’s the powerful 4.2 TDI which ups the power levels to 340 horsepower and lowers the 0-60 time to just 6.4 seconds. All this extra power does have its effect on the fuel economy and that drops to 30.1 mpg, with the 4.2 diesel not really holding its residual values as well as the cheaper 3.0 litre version either.
Finally there’s the mighty 6.0 litre V12 TDI engine which is really Audi just showing off their technical achievements – they only build these to order individually and don’t expect to sell many, but its performance is out of this world for a diesel – 500 horsepower and a huge 738 lb/ft of torque giving a 0-60 time of just 5.5 seconds and a top speed that has to be limited to 155 miles an hour. you can see Audi’s full Q7 diesel range above – just click on the car you’re interested in to add your required colours and options.
