Currently Ford only offers the fantastic new Puma model from launch with a few versions of the 1.0 litre Ecoboost petrol engine, which is available either as a standard 125 horsepower model, with a 0-60 time of 10 seconds and a top speed of 119 miles per hour, or as a 125 or 155 bhp mHEV mild hybrid engine, which uses a small battery to store energy recuperated from engine and braking, giving it a little extra boost when pulling away saving revving the engine so much and making it a few mpg more fuel efficient. the 155 bhp Hybrid model improves the 0-60 time to 8.9 seconds and the top speed to 124 mph and you can feel the different at higher speed so it's a little more suited to longer distance work. We don't yet know if a diesel option will be available but we do expect the hot ST model soon which will use the 1.5 Ecoboost petrol engine from the Fiesta ST.
