The 2020 Peugeot 2008 Allure offers all of the functionality of both the Access+ and the Active, but with a wide range of additional features that explain its higher price tag. As with the Active, there are five different engines available - but the 1.4 HDi available with the Active has been replaced with a second 1.6 e-HDi Stop & Start, offering 115 bhp rather than the 92 with the other similar option. Exterior differences to the Active include dark tinted rear windows, a rear parking aid, chrome door mirrors and directional front fog lights, while on the inside, two trim options are available as standard rather than the one standard option available on either the Access+ or the Active. The manual air conditioning that is standard on the two lower spec models has been upgraded to an automatic dual zone system, while a leather gear knob offers additional interior aesthetics, along with the LED instrument dial surround.
Both front and rear windows are electric, and the passenger seat can be adjusted. The new Allure also includes Peugeot's Visibility Pack, which includes automatic windscreen wipers and headlights, plus an electrochrome rear view mirror. New Peugeot 2008 Allure prices start from under £18,000 depending on the engine option chosen. Additional options such as a Cielo panoramic glass roof and a sat-nav system are available at extra cost, so check the specs fully before buying.
