When Porsche decides to launch a GTS version of any model in it's line-up, then that's usually the sweet spot in the range for on road driving. The GTS typically sits between the S and the turbo, taking the S spec and adding a selection of what are usually considered the 'must-have' options by dealers and car magazines alike, and charging a lot less for that car than it would cost to specify those options individually. these are usually things like PASM - Porsche Active Suspension Management and lowered sports suspension, plus you get a lot of visual tweaks to the front bumper, side skirts and rear spoilers to let people know you're in an upgraded model, plus larger black alloy wheels, smoked headlights and tail lights, leather and alcantara sports seats etc. While models like the GT3 are more track focused, the GTS is typically one of the best combinations of specs you can order for road use, and its higher resale values mean that the monthly leasing cost isn't much more than the standard 911's.
