Fuel & Gearbox
The 2.0 dCi is the more powerful of the two diesel options in the new Koleos, with 175 horsepower it pulls the big SUV along with real urgency, particularly in the manual version. If you're looking for an automatic then it's your only choice, and the auto gearbox will add around £1,500 to the price, but we found the CVT box to be a little ponderous and the manual has a better response. All of the 2.0 diesel versions are 4 wheel drive as standard whereas the 1.6 is a 2 wheel drive model, but other than that spec levels remain identical between the two engines.
