The Zoe range has been facelifted, its battery capacity improved and the electric motors replaced with more powerful versions. The starting point has been taken from the R90 model to the R110 model, and a new R135 motor introduced, which as its name suggests has the equivalent of 135 horsepower. Selecting this uprated motor takes the 0-60 time down from 11.4 to 9.5 seconds, and the car does feel significantly faster particularly at higher speeds. The Zoe R135 can be bought either in the mid-level Iconic or top spec GT line trim levels, and either with the standard charging rate at 22kW or for an extra £750 with the Rapid charge which will allow charging at up to 50kW at selected public charge points.
