The all new 2021 Renault Zoe come with both 2 power levels - the R110 and the R135 motors, but also with 2 charging options. The standard car will allow you to charge at home at up to 7kW, which will take 9-10 hours to fully recharge your battery. when out and about the standard car can use public charging points at up to 22kW which can take around 3 hours to charge. But there’s also an option to purchase the Rapid charge Zoe model which will allow you to charge faster if the public point is capable of it. (home charging won't be affected). If a public charging point has a 50kW capacity or more then the Rapid Charge model will allow a refill from 0 to 80% range in 1 hour 10 minutes, or just 30 mins charging will give you 90 miles of range, cutting down your stopping time considerably, so if you use public points a lot then paying the extra £750 for the Rapid charge model makes a lot of sense.
