Fuel & Gearbox
The 2020 Citigo is now only offered as an electric model called the "Citigo-e iV" and based on the Volkswagen e-Up electric car, and as it has no gearbox to speak of is therefore counted as an automatic as there are only two pedals - stop and go! The Petrol engined models used to be available with an automatic gearbox, the S, SE and Monte Carlo models, but not the Greentech ones. Skoda tried to confuse you by using the letters ASG, which stand for 'Automated Shift Gearbox', but basically mean auto, and it costed you around £650 for the privilege of not changing gears yourself when compared to the equivalent manual version, which makes sense when you realise it's actually got better fuel economy figures than the manual by a couple of mpg and will hold its additional value come resale time, but if you still want a petrol engined version you need to look at the Volkswagen Up on our website as it's still available with petrol engines for the time being.
